The Refton Fire Company has NO FIRE TAX
All money is raised either by donation or fund raiser.
In 2007, we received a 23 1/2% return on our fund drive mailing.
Other local fire companies are looking into a FIRE TAX.
We will not have to as long as the community gives their financial support.
On average, Strasburg and Providence Townships donate less then $25,000 combined each year toward our operating funds.
