. It all started with an article in Iranian.com magazine. There was this article about an episode of the Practice in which the guest star was an Iranian woman and actually played the role of an Iranian woman who had accused her boss of discrimination and racism and stuff! Anyways, my brother had read the article and when he told me about it, we were quite disappointed to have missed that eppisode.

. After a few months, we were watching the Gharibafshar new year's show on the internet, and suddenly we saw these two guests in the show. A man and a woman. The guy seemed awfully familiar. Gharibafshar began explaining in English that Shiva, the woman, had starred in the Practice and had portrayed an Iranian in a good way and they even showed a clip from the same episode ( It was quite an interesting clip, this guy was prosecuting Shiva, and he asked her , where were you born? she said Iran. He asked why did you come to the US? She said I came here as a high school exchange student and I went to college here and now I live here. He asked : Are you an American citizen? She immediately said NO. He asked, Are you planning to be an American citizen? She said NO!! He asked are you proud of being an Iranian, She said YES! He pulled out this small Iranian flag from his pocket and asked her, So you are loyal to this flag? She said, Yes. Oh and somewhere in the middle of the conversation the guy started talking about terrorism, and the defence immediately objected and their objection was sustained!!!!)

. Anyways, after the clip, Gharibafshar starts talking to the guy, who is Shiva's husband, and guess what? He is Dylan, the star of the show!! I couldn't believe my eyes! Dylan, who hardly goes on Jay Leno's show, is here with Gharibafshar!! So he talks a bit and then they show another clip of this ceremony which the Iranians give and award to Dylan and Shiva and Dylan says " Eide Shoma Mobarak"!! So again we come back to the studio and Gharibafshar announces the shocker!! He says that they didn't give the award to shiva just because she's my daughter!!! I was like "What the ...????" I really thought he is joking, but he again said that she's her daughter and he was not kidding! She really was his daughter and Dylan was his Son-in-law. Ain't it cool?
