REVIEW
Van Damme stars with NBA Bad
boy Dennis Rodman. Van Damme stars as Jack Quinn
a top counter terrorist ready to drop out of the
spy game until Stavros played by Mickey Rourke,
kidnaps his wife and his unborn son. Now with the
help from Yaz played by Rodman will do all they
can to find them.
As Van Damme said in his
"Looking back, Moving Forward"
documentary the film Double Team was very
cartoonish and just plain--well plain! Although
the film was very martial arty which we haven't
seen in a while it still was packed with guns and
explosions. It did have one of the coolest fight
scenes in a Van Damme film.
VAN DAMME portrays Jack Quinn a
top counter terrorist ready to retire. Once again
the acting wasn't his greatest but wasn't his
worst, he actually showed off some martial arts
in this one too.
RODMAN, plays Yaz a man of
destruction who helps Quinn out with all of his
arsenal needs and helps him find his wife and
child.
TSUI HARK, one of the three
very successful Hong Kong directors Van Damme has
brought to America directs. His view on this film
is very different than others might have done, he
makes this movie more of a fantasy film.
