STORY: B+:: A modernized version of the famous story "The Most Dangerous Game" written by Chuck Pfarrer brought all of the elements to make a great action film, unlike others.

ACTING: Good performances by Van Damme one of his best action films. Yancy Butler gave a strong performance also.

DIRECTION: Ahhh yes, John Woo the most critically acclaimed international and now American action director ever to come to Hollywood makes an outstanding American debut.

PARENTAL REVIEW::

Violence: Dozens of fatal shootings, a mans brains are blown out with the use of a shotgun, another man is shot through the peek hole in a door. A man's ear lobe is cut off. People are hunted and killed in public.

LANGUAGE: Very brief.

NUDITY: None.

DRUGS/ALCOHOL:A man drinks whine at his house. Men smoke cigars.
