REVIEW
Inside the Civic Arena, 17000
rabid hockey fans gather for the Stanley Cup
final game- including the Vice President of the
United States. What they don't know is that
someone is planning to have the building, and its
inhabitants, blown to bits.
The story of Sudden Death was
new and interesting. The fight scenes and action
were good. But the only thing wrong with this
film as most of the other Van Damme films is the
weak dialogue written by Gene Quintano.
VAN DAMME portrays Darren
McCord, a divorced father who brings his son and
daughter to the game. His acting is not very
great in this one, but that doesn't matter
because the action is good.
PETER HYAMS(timecop, end of
days) directs making this his second picture with
Van Damme. The only thing is that this film
doesn't have the special effects like Timecop or
the newly released film End of Days.
