REVIEW

Two of the biggest action stars are together for the firts time in one explosive adventure. Luc Devreaux and Sgt. Andrew Scott, two soldiers who kill each other in Vietnam and are then brought back to life 25 years later for a secret goverment program. Known as "Unisols," they're genetically enhanced, unstoppable killing machines with no memory, no feelings and no free will. But on an antiterrorist mission, Devereaux heads for his home and a reunion with his unbelieving parents. There Sgt. Scott corners him for the ultimate clash of the titans.

This is by far Van Dammes best film besides Hard Target. This film is great and it can be watched over and over again and never gets old. It is full of everything a JC film could have action, including guns, explosions and also full of martial arts.

VAN DAMME plays Luc Devereaux a Vietnam soldier who was killed and then brought back to life as the killing machine "GR44" for the top-secret Unisol program. Now on the run from the program that gave him life he must find out the truth to who he once was.

DOLPH LUNGREN plays Sgt. Andrew Scott a Vietnam soldier who was killed and then brought back to life as the killing machine "GR43" for the top-secret Unisol program who was once friends with Van Damme. Now on the hunt for Luc who escapes the program he must go to all lengths to end the war that in his mind never ended.

ALLY WALKER plays the love intrest for Van Damme and a recently fired reporter using Luc as her one case to get back in. She must help Luc find out who he is and return him to his family on a long journey.

OVERALL

STORY: A+, who would have thought to write a true action film and cast the two biggest action stars of the early 90's

REASON BEHIND THE RATING

VIOLENCE: fatal shootings and explosions, men are set on fire and burnt to a crisp. Sgt. Scott has an necklace made up of cut off ears. Luc cuts a tracking device out of his leg.

LANGUAGE: Lots of words used by Sgt. Scott.

DRUGS/ALCOHOL: Needles of muscle enhancers are enjected into the Unisols neck. Needles are enjected into the heart.

SEX/NUDITY: Van Dammes back side.
