I am a role-player. I like to play role-playing games. It's always fun to take a little trip from reality. That's also why I write.
I am so much of a role-player that I have written a role-playing game myslef. It's a fantasy rpg that can be played in Ancient Greece/Rome, Mideavil Europe, and Modern Day world.
It is based around a conflict between magic and mortality, in which mortality presents a resistance to magic, wanted or unwanted.
Also, in this rpg, human beings are the muts of numerous sapien subspecies. Satyrs, Elves, Minotaurs, ect, are all pure bred sapien races. If the blood mixes enough, the characteristics that separate each subspecies are bred out by dominant human genes.
If you have any questions about the roleplaying game, or are in the Peoria, Illinois area and want to help me playtest the game, email me. I'm afraid that I won't be able to give any information on the system of play, because I am currently trying to get the game published and don't want to be caught handing this out and be sued and sued and sued.
BTW, I'm planning on putting a list of gods you won't be finding clerics for in AD&D. So, if anybody has any good ideas for additions, send 'em to me.
The first is going to be The so-so god Eh, the god of apathy. You would pray to him, but why? And, even if you did, he would give you spells, but he doesn't care either.
September 5, 1999. Yesterday, I ran my RPG for the first time.
I'm not going to say it's the best RPG ever made, but I do think it ran well, despite the interuptions.
BTW, you know you're a gamer if you spend more time in a session reminissing about previous games than actually playing.
