Blyth's
Hawk-Eagle (Spizaetus alboniger).
Size is 51-58 cm (20-23 in.). Long erectile crest, whitish underparts with
dark mesial stripe and black streaks on breast, black bars on belly and
flanks. Found in the Malay Peninsula, Sumatra and Borneo. Resident in hilly
country up to 1980 m south to Singapore where it is rare with no recent
records. Often perches in tall trees and soars over forest.
