This is a Black-thighed Falconet (Microhierax fringillarius). Size 16 cm (6 inches). Blackish thigh and black 
upperparts. Rufous throat and underpart, white breast. Undertail coverts barred black and white. 
Bold white supercilium. Resident here in Malaysia. Found from low elevation up to 1500 m in forests, 
forest edges, wooded open country and gardens. These birds are gregarious and are found in groups of up to five.
