This is the Large Niltava (Niltava grandis). Size 22 cm (8.5 in). Looks a
bit like the Drongo in the shade but the dark blue colour is distinctive.
The iridescent blue crown and neck patch looks stunning in the right light.
Common resident at hill stations above 1200 m such as Fraser's Hill and are
likely to be seen at forest edge and often on the road foraging for insects.
