This is the Peaceful Dove or Zebra Dove as it is sometimes called. Size 21 cm (8.5 inches). 
Small size with proportionally longish tail. Grey head, pale brown upperparts with fine
black & white barrings on neck and flanks. Legs dark red. Dark tail with
white edges conspicuous in flight. Fairly common resident at low
elevation in Malaysia and usually found in open country , gardens and plantations.
