Phil debuted in HCW at "High Stakes" as the third member of a 3-Way for the HCW Cruiserweight Championship. He displayed some great moves and nearly broke Kadabras nose with a stiff Legdrop off the tramp. Phil took a beating and even came back after a powerbomb on his neck through a board. Although he lost, he showed everyone in HCW that he has the heart and guts to become a major player in HCW.
