Theresa

This is a picture I came across in my computer of my good friend, Theresa. Theresa and I have a long history full of chance and fate. We started working together at a gift shop in Frankenmuth. Theresa wasn't getting treated well there and although it was my only job to use as a reference and I had been there over 4 years, I walked out with her.

At this time, they were building the Frankenmuth River Place. We used to say how we would just move over there to work. However, we left our job together and didn't really believe we'd see much of each other after that.

I found a few jobs and eventually ended up helping my sister with her job search at the Frankenmuth River Place which opened in July, 2001. I found a job too at the Curiosity Shop. The next day I went to start working there. I pulled in and looked over to see Theresa's car. I left her a note where I was at. I went to work, which I found that I hated. After awhile, Theresa came in. She hinted that she was manager of a store and to call her.

I called her that night. She told me to come in and I'd have a job, so I quit the job I started and cancelled all my interviews. The next day I started working for Theresa at Sarvis Creek Dry Goods, a clothing store.

I was a bridesmaid in Theresa's wedding and we still hang out even though we no longer work together. Hopefully when we are rich someday, we will open a business together.
