The Pineland Church The Pineland church of Christ is a group of Christians who work and worship together in the town of Pineland located in East Texas. We are simply Christians striving to live, work, and worship according to the instructions and examples we have in the New Testament. Our Worship We base our worship to God on the Bible; our only source of doctrine or religious guide (2 Tim. 3:16-17). We sing to God at every service (Eph. 5:19), we pray to God (Acts 12:5), and we take the Lord’s Supper on the first day of the week (Acts 20:7). The only collection of money we take up is an offering of our members on Sunday (2 Cor. 9:7). Home Studies We do offer home Bible studies to anyone in our community. If you live in the Pineland area and are interested, we would love to study the Bible with you on a regular basis. There is no fee or charge to do so and we would be happy to meet with you in your home or in a public setting, whichever is comfortable for you.
