Statutory
“It’s perfect,” Gwen said firmly, looking around at her loyal minions. That is to say, the most powerful members of the senior class at Sky High. Penny with her clones, Lash with his super-elastic-stretchiness, Speed with his.... speed, and Warren. With fire. “This plan is going to work perfectly, and we will control the heroes.”
“Hn.” Warren crossed his arms. “Let me get this straight. You want to rule all the heroes.”
“Yes.” Gwen beamed.
“And you intend to do so by using little Stronghold to get into his father’s lair, and find this... Patsy thing.”
“Pacifier,” Penny corrected, rolling her eyes. Multiple sets of, that is.
“Right.” Warren sighed. “And you intend to do this by dating the guy.”
“Exactly,” Gwen nodded.
Warren paused for a minute, thinking. “That’s sick.”
“What?” Gwen blinked at him.
“That’s sick,” he repeated. “Stronghold’s fourteen. You’re eighteen. That’s statutory rape.”
Gwen rolled her eyes as Lash and Speed snickered. “I’m not going to sleep with him, Peace.”
“Good. Cause I’d burn the shit out of you if you did.” Warren scoffed, and stood. “You guys are a bunch of idiots. Including me in your stupid plots because I’m the son of a super villain. Yeah. Not my thing. I hope you realize the bad guys never win.” Scooping up his backpack, he raised a single hand in farewell. “You lot don’t even like me. Don’t know how you thought this was a good idea. Have fun.”
And from then on, he kept a very close eye on the young Stronghold, making sure he always was close enough to assist if it was needed, even agreeing to go to the stupid Homecoming with his friend in case he needed a watchful eye there. Granted, that meant the boy did think he was stalking him and hating him, but hey. Such is life.
Besides, he was only seventeen.
Wasn’t statutory, that way.
Go back to Sky High.
