About Me

Let's see..

I'm a 26 year-old Connecticut native. As far as I know, I have always enjoyed writing. My mom has saved collections of stories that I wrote going back to kindergarten. I would like to think that my writing has improved since then, but that's for other people to judge.

I graduated from college in 2003 with a degree in environmental science and have since realized that I hate working in science. I currently live in Maryland and work for a biotech company as a quality control analyst.

I have an incredible fiance who I have been with for over seven years. He's a bio-nerd as well and will hopefully finish his PhD this year so he can start earning more than minimum wage. In addition to him, I have the world's cutest kitties, Sasha and Nemo. They constantly remind me that there are some things in the world that will always be incomprehensible. (How can you fall asleep on the radiator with your head dangling off the side? How?)

Besides writing, I thoroughly enjoy sleeping. It is very important to me. I also like lounging around watching movies or good stuff on TV (ie, Family Guy, The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, Scrubs, 24, CSI). I am also an avid baker. No main dishes for me, just let me make desserts and decorate cakes and I am a happy girl.
