Challah

I have neglected to update my blog for sometime now. I had been baking my staples regularly but I felt that those were not worth putting up for archive. Recently, I have been baking some local style sweet breads but these were done only when I did not have much time to prepare my regular breads. As the Chinese New Year is drawing near, I decided to make something richer. Hopefully, this will make the god of fortune smile at me and maybe let me win the $10 million Toto lottery :) I decided on a Challah. The problem was to chose between Maggie Glezer and Hamelman. In the end, I decided to go with my favorite baker, J. Hamelman.
