Australian Cable TV NO commercials.. Was this NOT the Battel CRY of Australian Paid Cable TV ...So Why now are you paying to watch TV commercials!.

Here is something to think about in that over the past few years since Australia came out with cable pay TV their first line in their battle cry to potential " Paying subscribers " from these cable network companies was " NO TV ADS " this to most of us was a breath of fresh air considering all the so called " FREE to air TV in Australia " had all these " American hard sell TV Tele Marketing programs " you know the ones that go for hours on end and then we have all them commercial breaks when there is a good movie on so we were used to being brain washed by TV commercials and Tele Marketing programs right left and center over the last years and it just keeps on getting better.

It seemed to be that we could just not wait for the next commercial break to see all the hard sell TV ads and I am sure you will all remember the ad ...but wait there's more!.

So here is what you get in that you can have all the 42 channels for $87 per month this includes 5 normal free to air TV channels we are now paying for 5 free to air TV channels now whey are free anyway's.. so when it comes down to it all we are paying $87 per month for 38 cable channels but wait there's more ...now with ads too... so good deal or what !.

Yep there sure is more in that nowadays we are being asked to pay out good moneys for pay TV which to start with was pretty cool as there was no ads at all on the cable network.
but wait for it ...yep you have guessed it in that now over the past few years we have been slowly introduced to TV commercials on a system that did say ( NO TV COMMERCIALS ) so they said. But thats old hat and again now yep you have guessed it these cable companies have gone over to commercial ads with ads even on the Discovery, National Geographic, and the History channel being cut into by these cable TV networks selling everything from cars, bread to womans sanitary needs.

Along with this we are even getting told that this form of pay cable TV with there " commercial " is an acceptable practice and we are told that all this is part of the normal " paying subscribers " TV cable network....what do you think ?.

This cool deal may be a cool deal for all these cable TV companies in that they are getting now big dollars from commercial houses for prime TV advertising commercial and lets not be forgetting hard cash from their " Paying subscribers " too nice to see them playing boths ends of the net work!.

Well the good news here at this end is as a paying subscriber to a cable TV network in Australia I have pulled the pin on them and I am now looking forward to next year in being $1,131 better off.

As I am not prepared to pay out hard earned cash for a cable TV company that is taking moneys from me as a paying subcriber for what they used to call " NO CABLE TV ADS " and now over the past few years they have expertly been increasing the dosage of commercials to the point now that one would have to be blind in not seeing or hearing these ads blare out ..so good deal for the cable TV companies but a poor one for paying subscribers!.

Also is the fact that when you now phone these cable TV companys up you have to wait a long time to get whats called " customer service " and if you complain to them in all fairness to them you may perhaps get a week knocked off your bill due to either having your program interrupted due to their system uploading to the satellite or just having a blank screen as their Cable network has gone down.
This does not retract from the fact that their " customer service " is going out the window as waiting some times 20 to 45 min on the phone.
I dont call that " customer service " it called " NONE customer service " and that this so called freebee " knocked off your bill " costs them nothing.
But it does cost you the paying subscribers big time let alone in that it is conditioning you the " Paying subscribers " to a poor service and having to put up with the encroachment of crappy ads on a cable TV companies network that you are paying for.

However you have got to hand it to them too in that have you ever noticed to that when you are watching a program now on pay cable TV is that when these ads come on have you listened or more over had to dive for the volume control as your sound on your TV " flares & blares out the sounds of these ads" or more over just about blasts you out the house have you noticed that!.

There is nothing wrong with your TV set its just the cable network cutting in and increasing its audio output from their control center to your TV set in having in effect turned up your volume control on your TV set so it does " Blare " out their commercial ads ...and they call that cool.

I call that totally unacceptable manipulation along with it being totally unacceptable having commercial ads shoved on me and then being asked to pay for it all.
Along with this so called explanation as to it all being normal acceptability for their commercial TV ads this is just not on or even comes close to being acceptable or normal practice.
That's more its just their way of justifying their own existence in pushing on you the " paying subscriber " what they want you to watch and listen to and in a word its a form of brain washing thats the bottom line here.

So on listening to these cable TV companies we soon would have to get used to a bad thing along with their crap and treachery in doing this sort of crap to start with.
If these cable TV companies cannot provide a solid basis in which to supply a cable TV network that can exist on paying subscribers fee's then perhaps its time they left the field.

So my bottom line to all out there is to turn off and send back your decoders and dont forget to let them pick up their decoder rather than them asking you to drop their decoder off at the post office as it was you that paid the $62 out to them for the installation fee and you had to install it yourself.
Let these cable companies think about what they are doing to us in that its " US the paying subscribers " thats paying them big bucks so let them see what side of their bread is buttered on as without " Us the Paying subscribers" there is no cable company and without "Us the paying subcribers " there is no cable company or advertising revenue for them either as there is no commercial houses that will pay bucks out to a company that has very few " paying subscribers " so come on get yourself a better deal and drive your dollar further.

Turn OFF and save big bucks.
