Ch 7 Today Tonight reporter sacked 22 February 2007...But did The Seven Network correct that Broadcast ..NO they did not.

A TV reporter who supplied chains to lock an 84-year-old woman to a nursing home door for a story has been sacked by the Seven Network.

The Today Tonight reporter Nicholas Boot was suspended after the story on Tuesday 20 February 2007 about grandmother Shirley Frey's dispute with a Sydney nursing home.

The story said she had chained herself to a door when threatened with eviction.

In fact,Nicholas Boot had supplied the chains and the story was a stunt !.

But did we hear anything on our Australian National News about this sacked reporter Nicholas Boot in what he has done or in fact even get any public apology or correction from him or indeed The Seven Network on TV.

As to how this matter even being looked upon as just being a "silly error in judgement from that reporter'' is something to be desired and is quite something else but whats more important here is how it even got to air at all in the first place ?.

Why was not the police or government agencies called in to investigate this disgraceful and devious deception by this reporter reporting such crap to the Australian public can not just be swept under the carpet as some sort of "silly error " on his part or indeed by The Seven Network.

I would wonder why such persons or TV Net work was not drugged or alcohol tested for having done such a thing to start with.

The fact is that he Lied and constrewed to concoct such a report to start with has to be legally looked at also the fact he having also taken advantage of an 84 year old woman and now having possibly endangering her life after this event.

But what this Nicholas Boot has also done is now having to reflect on other reporters as such deception having been done with one reporter is unfogiveable but having sold his lie over air to the Australian public is something else and this form of reporting here in Australia can't be tolerated in any form seeing how The Seven Network likes to point out other persons errors.

Concerning this lacking on the part of The Seven Network failing to follow this up on air and correcting this whole matter just as loudly as it was first transmitted to air by them to the Australian public in the first place does indeed show true lacking on their part let alone not show just concern of having lied to the Australian public does indeed show a lacking on their transparency to comply with the laws of Australia such lacking of integrity is not always nice to see.

I been reading in some other Australian media that The Seven Network have stated "There is no ill feeling between Nicholas and The Seven Network and we wish him well in his future endeavours.''

What to cut him loose and go and lie and mislead again on air somewhere else to the Australian public?.

Come on here its the Australian public that have been lied to here and its your lacking Seven Network to have these matters corrected let alone yous having used your Network and Multi medium systems to mislead others here in Australia along with having also done so over seas.

The Seven Network is not going to do anything about this ?.

Perhaps its the Seven Network that should be put up in front of a judge not only for wishing a reporter that has lied and mislead the general public in their misuse of such a powerfull manipulative medium.

I would say to The Seven Network to get in touch with reality here as there are more Australian concerns out there that are more profoundly important to Australians than the crazy competitions between your Seven Network and what you have used as an excuse being " Nine's A Current Affair are fierce rivals ".

The Seven Network have never shown any form of follow up on most of their so called news storys on Today Tonight over many years.
So I guess we can't be too shocked that their ineptitude in this instance when it comes to the truth.

All this is not really a new thing for them in not wanting to comply with any laws as what we have seen from The Seven Network over many years is the fact that they are better in transmitting smut and Telemarketing on our TV sets rather than looking after Australia.

In that the fact is that more Australians are being shot dead by Police now than ever before and this has been broadcasted as being acceptable behaviour on their part in this personification of such none Australian attributes!.

The fact is that 90% of Australians are unarmed and would not know how to use a gun let alone have one this fact seems to escape most of us let alone The Seven Network.

But yet here we are in Australia seeing, hearing and reading that our so called Australian police force are not only emulating but employing American police tactics on basicly what is an unarmed Australian public.

The fact is that our so called police force do practice weaponry and have target practice regularly in their bid to be armed terrorists there for why do we Australians put up with such acts of prey done on us.

The fact is if a gunman was loose then why then don't we just have a tactical armed response unit instead of all these police running around shooting and killing Australians this just can not go on no matter what excuse is given.

I am sure that a garden rake, a childs toy sword, or a colorful plastic gun may or could cause some harm or at least do some bruising how ever its a known fact that a real gun with real bullets do kill and the Police are taken the fatal shot and are not interested about shooting to wound.

I have been looking at what The Seven Network has been broadcasting that they would like to confuse the issues here in broadcasting American police shows and some other crappy American TV shows showing their brutality that these American cops do to their own people.

This then is not an Australian Broadcaster looking out for Australia seeing the fact too we Australians DON'T have gun shops on every street corner let alone the fact we just about can't buy a gun.

What The Seven Network have done here concerning this Nicholas Boot and what they have not done here in all having been involved have serious errors in judgement and should be taken to task.

Come on Seven Network get a grip and lift your game.
