There for The City of Palmerston is NOT an inner suburb of the city of Darwin as this is the interpretation which you would have us believe in having heard your news broadcasts over the many years now let alone yous conveying this wrong information to any visitors coming to The Northern Territory as well as from over sea's.
I will say again indeed the fact is that we do have our local " City of Palmerston Council "and council members in which we as tax payers do pay them a wage to supposedly look after our best interests and that of our City of Palmerston good name.
Also is the fact at looking at The Palmerston City Councils own letter head and that of The Palmerston City
Council Office I dont see anything pertaining to some " Satellite City " as being apart of some Palmerston as to what yous have stated to air tonight 12 March 2007 in your news broadcast from Ch 9 in Darwin.
So if what you are refering to on air is correct that there is some Satellite City in that there is some other land mark or a second place called Palmerston that we dont yet know about as we heard from your so called local news brodacsting tonight 12 March 2007 and if that being the case I would urge you to directly contact with either The
Palmerston City council and its members or to The Northern Territory Government.
However since the fact that The Northern Territory Government did not even put " The City of Palmerston " on any current maps let alone even the name palmerston on any current maps not even when The City of Palmerston " was declared a City in 2000.
That was until 2002 as it was I that took " The Northern Territory Government " to task on that issue where the residents paid out good moneys for this to have taken place in the first instance which did not happen in 2000.
As you know there is a procedure to follow in declaring a " City " and this too was never observed at that time but the Northern Territory Government and the then Township council of Palmerston did indeed make a lot of money out of the proclamation and declaration of The CITY of Palmerston when it was declared and still does even to this day in the sale of property and property taxes.
So seemly then they too have got some explaining to do too as well as they too would have at some point seen your channel 9 TV news broadcast along with your advertisements in having been misreporting on the true facts about our " CITY of Palmerston " even to its true statute these facts and others having been made on your local Ch 9 TV broadcasting networks and your Internet feeds too.
Along with yous now having again been down playing our CITY of Palmerston for years so if yous are incapable
or unwilling to address our City of Palmerston correctly then perhaps remove youself from reading such news and get some one in that can at least acknowledge fully our CITY of Palmerston as a CITY rather than a geographical reference on a map in which case there are no suburbs in a geographical reference.
Odder yet is the fact that your CH 9 Network has been and keeps down playing our CITY information incorrectly through out so many years in yous having also shown very clearly that you neither dont KNOW or dont care to know the true declared and proclaimed facts about our City of Palmerston.
And yet yous still keep falsely advertising every day of the week and making moneys out of all this in that yous
having also actively been slanting The City of Palmerston after lawfully declared and proclaimed facts just as
yous have being falsely advertising traders being at some Palmerston in which you view to also make moneys out of such incorrect advertisements and having been doing so for years.
I would there for ask what dont yous or your broadcasting network not understand about these lawfull facts in
what ever you may think of this matter is of no relevance to me other than stated lawful facts concerning The City of
Palmerston.
And more over what dont yous or your broadcasting network not understand about illegally misleading the public in that you having been incorrectly advertising.
