The Northern Territory & World Wide News Line..... Opening up the rest of the world to a better Future.

I would have expected such a so called local TV network station to at least know its own Territory let alone such a broadcasting network would comply with all lawful acts and facts so also to at least be correct in these facts in which its reporting on and to the correct stature about The City of Palmerston rather than what you have been doing on air in refering to our CITY geographically as being " Palmerston " or some other so called Satellite City for the last 7 years.

I find this lack of political correctness and professionalism wanting in many ways let alone yous having stated to air that you are " Proudly Australian " and you can not acknowlage an Australian City and in turn yous are and have been misleading not only the local community and visitors to The Northern Territory but along with having been misreporting stated lawful facts to not only localy to Territorians but indeed " Nationally across Australia " and through out the rest of the world with your Internet Multi Media Feeds " about the true correctness about our" City of Palmerston " as well in having been over looking these facts and failing to comply with the acts of compliance.

Indeed I have had cause to in the past to take to task " The Northern Territory Government " some years ago 22 Jan 2002 over such matters concerning just the geographical placement of " Palmerston " as well as the " NT tourist industry " for not also putting the geographical placement of " Palmerston " on most Australian map/maps so just on this one matter alone as to the true correctness concerning these matters which I endeavoured to have these matters corrected fully.
Even as to the fact why the name of " PALMERSTON " was not also on most Australian maps at all and the ones it was on was showing Palmerston written in Silhouette and yet other such small places such as the hamlet of Humpty Doo where and are written in bold letters.....This is down right odd!.

In that Palmerston and " The City of Palmerston " be placed on all the Northern Territory maps for the first time in which these matters were to have all been addressed by Mr. Greg Heron Manager, Land Information Centre NT Dept of Infrastructure, Planning & Environment for the Government of Northern Territory.

It also has to be noted here too that I was the first person in the Northern Territory to have put Palmerston and The City of Palmerston on the map as well as the internet in having shown my support by putting these facts on some of my own web sites over many years well before your TV station came to The Northern Territory.

As indeed not even the then Palmerston town council or the New " Palmerston City Council " had a web site up at that time. The fact is that there are only " Two Cities " in the whole of the Northern Territory and I would have expected at least yous could get them correct rather than what yous have been doing to date.

It been interesting to note just what yous have been doing on your local TV station and broacsting networks is appalling to say the least and there is various acts of illegal activity and incorrectness here done by yous and that of the said conditions and compliance of your ACMA Broadcasting licence in which you are not in compliance with these acts and or other laws of Australia.

There for before I go into some other matters I would like to propose to you the following seeing how your local Ch 9 broadcast network is persiting in down playing and failing NOT to reconize our CITY of Palmerston in that perhaps then ALL local residents of The City of Palmerston who are also tax payers and rate payers could apply to your Ch 9 broadcasting network and to The Northern Territory Government and indeed The Palmerston CITY Council due to there failing to defend such slanting and abuse done to our City as according to your local CH 9 TV network that we are NOT a CITY but rather a geographical placement of land in which then there is NO City of Palmerston or even a CITY Council there for a full refund of ALL FEES and TAXES would be applicable and enclude such refunds for all fees for parking fines, speeding fine, planning permission fees ,building approval fees, dump fees , registration fees and the list just keeps going on along with all the moneys resedencs, tax payers and rate payers having paid out good moneys in the first place to have the then Township of palmerston declared as " The City of Palmerston in 2000 " some 7 years ago.
