I also do hope in the long run that our native animals over come the lacking of our own Northern Territory Government thats if we still have any of our native animals left that is ?.
So I would ask WHY has your local Ch 9 TV station not got involved into these matters more in looking out for our fellow Australian and perhaps even asked why are yous trafficing ,abuse in exploitation of our Australian Children and just who is paying for all this in the long run ?.
This is odd seeing how you have advertised on TV that you are supposedly " Supporting our local community "why have you not been following these matter of such trafficing ,abuse in exploitation of our Australian Children and that of what these Queensland Cane Toad Pandemic are doing since you too also live in this local community and there more to our local community than just Darwin there is the whole of the Northern Territorians and these matters are of great concern to us all in our local communitys as well as its now showing to be yet another burden on us tax payers.
Is it a case that our own Northern Territory appointed Government officials are trying to sweep this under the carpet and if so I would ask WHY are we Northern Territorians standing by and doing nothing about this abuse and exploitation of our Australian Children.
I will ask you again what is the point of having your Ch 9 TV station in the Northern Territory if you are not getting
involved in all of The Northern Territory other than just Darwin matters.!
As for just broadcasting ( Darwin National 9 News ) in this form what good is it to the rest of the Northern Territory
or indeed to Northern Territorians if there is no real local content covering the whole of the Northern Territory.
Also this mix and match of mixing up ( National news and World News ) with a littel local news has to stop it bad enough that we dont get enough local content as it is other than just Darwin but we also so much mix and match also from you so called ( National News ) coming from NSW at night where in most case this is a mix of ( National News ) and ( World News ) so where does our local Northern Territory content fit into this news segment ?.
Perhaps look at the local level here and open your eyes for once in that here is just some food for throught in that I
would ask whats happened to all the moneys that over the past 20 years that the " Palmerston town council " and now our New " City of Palmerston council " has been making moneys out of the Palmerston City dump.
The reason I am asking this is the fact that some " millions of dollars a year " have been made out of the collection and dumping of " returnable cans and bottles " through out all this time in that for a few hundred dollars worth of fuel to take these " returnable cans and bottles " down south to Queensland so as to claim the ( 5 cent deposit ) on each can and bottle that was given into the dump from our local community as there was NO recycling plant up here for many years.
I would then ask where has all this money gone to seeing too how we as a " City " still do not have any open 24/7 medical centre like what " The Farrah Medical Centre " was supposed to be a Community Medical Centre so also then what of all these Government grants that paid out in which was supposed to be put into such a Community Medical Centre where has all this money gone too !.
Lets not only see just the younger person's and familys that are NOT covered with any Medical but more importantly
what of the elderly that live in The City of Palmerston area.
Perhaps is it a case that it just makes for good converstion over a coffee and if we close our eyes long enough it will
all just go away.
Let alone even paying out for this clean up bill in the first place concerning this Queensland Cane Toad Pandemic
and thats just the Darwin city area.
What about the rest of the Northern Territory and why has there been no transparency on your Ch9 TV station as to how the clean up bill is being paid ?.
So has The City of Palmerston Council paid any TAX or GST on this money seeing too that the local community put this money into our local community in the first place.
