This form of abuse done to the residents of The City of Palmerston by media, politicians, road signs ,maps NT weather bureau, Darwin ABC TV, Darwin Channel 9 and Darwin channel 7 known also as Southern cross TV station all having been misreporting these facts of the political correctness of the Lawfully Declared fact covering the Declared City of Palmerston.
There for I would have expected that The City of Palmerston Council and all of its council members to comply with such Lawfully Declared facts.
Let alone such TV and Radion stations and networks such as these would comply with these lawfully declared facts too so as to at least correct these facts in reporting the correct stature of " The City of Palmerston " in that the fact it is a " CITY " rather than what they and yous have been doing in referring to it as just " Palmerston " for the past 7 years now.
I find this lack of professionalism wanting in many ways and in turn yous are misleading the local community along with having been misreporting stated lawful facts to not only local Territorians but indeed Nationally across Australia and through out the world about the true correctness about " The City of Palmerston " with your Internet media feed to the internet as well.
Indeed I have had cause in the past to take to task " The Northern Territory Government " some 5 years ago in the 22 Jan 2002 over such matters as well as the Northern Territory Government Tourist industry just on this one matter alone concerning what was posted as being " PALMERSTON " rather than the CITY of Palmerston as to the true correctness concerning these matters and I had endeavoured to have all these corrected fully.
Even as to the fact why the name of PALMERSTON was not also on most Australian maps and the ones it were on was showing Palmerston written in Silhouette and yet other such small places such as the hamlet of Humpty Doo are written in bold letters.....This is down right odd !.
In that Palmerston and " The City of Palmerston " be placed on the Northern Territory maps for the first time in which these matters were to have all been addressed in that Mr. Greg Heron Manager, Land Information Centre N T Dept of Infrastructure, Planning & Environment for the Government of Northern Territory.
It also has to be noted here too that I was the first person in the Northern Territory to have put Palmerston and the City of Palmerston on the map as well as the internet in having shown my support by putting these facts on some of my own web sites over many years.
As indeed not even the then Palmerston town council or the New City of Palmerston council had a web site up at that time.

I would now take issue with yous and these TV station networks in yous having been failing to observe these facts and rules of law along with yous having been feeding the incorrect information into the Australian and Multi media networks over these many years in having been over looking these facts.
The fact is that there are only " Two Citys " in the whole of the Northern Territory and I would have expected at least yous could get them correct rather than what yous have been doing to date.
I also see too that on these local TV stations in their Multi medium level in reporting the weather forecast feeds and that of the Northern Territory weather bureau that they keep bypassing " The City of Palmerston " continually.
Instead they have referred to the small hamlet such as Humpty Doo and other surrounding out landing areas instead.
That yous have been doing is appalling to say the least and there is various acts of illegal activity and incorrectness here done by yous and that of the these set conditions for these Darwin TV station networks regarding their ACMA licence in which yous are not in compliance with these acts.
