Northern Territory Government Officials Still Doing It Their Way

Please keep remembering at all times when you are reading this article in what takes place AFTER you have already been assessed and processed by Centrelink in that its Centrelink that assesses you and approves you for any benefit or entitlement.

As you read remember always that you have already been approved by Centrelink some 6 months before hand but that is not good enough for the Northern Territory Government Official & Managers.

As most Australians would know to qualify for ANY pension or unemployment benefit or carers pension etc one has to be assessed by Centrelink first who are indeed the Commonwealth Governments distributing arm for all benefits and concessional benefits.

Along with YOU having to supply to Centrelink all kinds of personal ID to Centrelink including the CITY or town in which you live so as to get your correct entitlements.

This includes concessional benefits where an unemployment benefit person, pensioner or a carer qualifies for a carer pension all which is approved by Centrelink.

So why does Centrelink in the Northern Territory now not want to know these facts which have taken place let alone them not even wanting to acknowledge our City of Palmerston !.

Also therefore why does the Northern Territory government without due notification being given to recipients of any Centrelink benefit and to the Commonwealth Government in that now the Northern Territory government demands your personal information from you for you to be able to claim or get any " concessional benefits " and that's after you already had been assessed by Centrelink and got your Centrelink benefits card !!.

As such as having to provide to them " Northern Territory Government " by way of their department/departments that calls themselves " NT Pensioner and Carer Concession Scheme " along with also now " Department of Health and Community Service " with some 6 months of your own bank account statements, your photo id, proof of rental lease at least for 6 months, and either a NT power& Water bill and or phone bill showing your current address and account number with them.

Go figure that one !.

What has to be noted as well here is the fact that if you do not provide these items then you will be refused concessional benefits when you apply for these services with in the Northern Territory.

So just where is Centrelink in all this at least up here in The Northern Territory ?.

Just who in Centrelink is allowing " The Northern Territory Government " access to Commonwealth Government data base as it's been made clear to us that what used to be called " NT concession " but now have gone on to use the name of " NT Pensioner and Carer Concession Scheme " along with in just recent times in using the " Department of Health and Community Service " have also come on board in that both of these Departments are now combining themselfs as to be known in now are calling themselfs " Department of Health and Community Service & NT Pensioner and Carer Concession Scheme " at least that's what's now on their letter head.

Odd too is the fact that they are supposed to be separate departments but it seems they share the same postal address !.

Even Odder still is the fact that also these " Northern Territory Government " Departments also do not want to acknowledge our city of Palmerston for the past 7 years and none of these " Northern Territory Government Departments " will let you change or update your details to reflect your true residency as being in the City of Palmerston.

They will and are also intercepting your information and personal details when indeed setting themselves up as supposedly it is them that's paying you a pension or carers concession to you when indeed this is not correct at all.

You know thats odd since not having siged their " Consent Form " to start with !.

They will also refuse to acknowledge " YOU " in if you at any time are wanting to up date your information like to have your address stated correctly they just dont want to know or even comply with any acts of compliance even when your CITY has been dropped OFF the address line as it's been stated to this writer in writing ( it does not fit their computer layout ) along with this is the fact that they all will go to extraordinary lengths to NOT answer your questions at all.

How odd indeed that any Government Department would do that let alone in them also having been creating their own data base illegally if you have taken note of the other articles which have been written.

I was saddened to find out that after such presentation done by " The Northern Territory Government " in their use of " Department of Health and Community Service & NT Pensioner and Carer Concession Scheme " on their own letter head it seems the fact as best as we can find out from these very ( nonchalont, arrogant, persona's ) that call themselfs Managers " that they do not pay you one cent " let alone them not even paying you any " NT Pensioner or Carer Concession " at all ?.

But one thing sure stands out they make sure that they involve themselves into knowing your personal business.

The Northern Territory Government has taken upon itself to put persons in possession of a Centrelink pension at a disadvantage by not allowing any person to apply for these concessions unless they have resided in the Northern Territory for at least a minimum of 6 months or more and no less than that.

Regardless of how long a persons has been in receipt of a Centrelink pension or Unemplyment benefit they will not recognise a Centrelink recipient regardless of the fact the Commonwealth law states clearly that they are entitled to it.

This means that the Northern Territory Government has pocketed 6 months of Commonwealth Government funds " concessional benefits " per person through out The Northern Territory.

This is outrageous as one is given in writing by Centrelink when first being approved for a pension that they are elligible for all concessions on most Government charges eg. electricity, water, registration, dental, and eye specialists etc.

So where does the Northern Territory Government get off by putting pensioners and low income families at a loss and disadvantaging those persons because they " Northern Territory Government " deem when they think it is appropiate only after they have lived in the Northern Territory for 6 months or more.

Therefore I would like to know where is the subsidy that is given to the Northern Territory Government for all our pensioners concessions when for 6 months they have to pay full price regardless if a person has been in receipt of a pension or Unemployment benefit for more than 12 months let alone some pensioners having been so for 20 years or have moved to the Territory from interstate and been on a pension prior to taking up residence here how dare they inflict financial hardship and add insult to injury upon persons who are already on a low income which is below the poverty line that is why they are entitled to concessions in the first instance.

Northern Territory Government Officials & Managers 'ignore' All Acts of compliance.

Taking all this into account of what The Northern Territory Government has taken upon itself to go against what The Commonwealth Government & Centrelink includes in its pension package.

I have also taken note of the fact that this form of rhetoric and abuse is ( NOT APPLICABLE TO SO CALLED Indigineous Australians ) as they dont have to wait 6 months to get any of their " concessions " so how come this double standard ! that is clearly been done over many years in which ( European Australian citizens) and ( European Australian Born ) don't have these same rights seeing the fact that we are Australian citizens too !.

So just where has all the money gone.

I also have taken note of the fact that you don't have to have at least 6 months of residency in being liable in paying any fines ?.
