Samuel F. Tameler, 93, of Catasauqua, Wednesday September 8, 2021, at Fellowship Manor in Whitehall. He was the husband of the late Doris O. (Miller) Tameler for 62 years before she died in 2008. Born in Coplay, he was a son of the late Samuel and Cecilia (Feiertag) Tameler. Samuel was a graduate of Rutgers Stonier Graduate School of Banking. Sam worked in the banking industry for many years and retired from Lehigh Valley Bank as the Vice President of the Trust Department. After retiring he worked for John Judd Realtor in Bethlehem. He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Kreidersville and the former St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Catasauqua. Sam was a longtime member of the Masonic Temple of Bethlehem and the American Business Club. Sam enjoyed being with friends and family. He loved hunting in Pennsylvania and Montana and listening to German music. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Surviving are his sons Richard and wife Jeannie, Robert and wife Jeanna and daughter Janet Corello and husband John; brother Karl Tameler and wife Gail; grandchildren Suzanne Tameler and companion Kevin Gillespie, Megan Lewis and husband Marlin, Whitney Larson and husband Brandon, Samantha Lytle and husband Cameron, Zachary Tameler and Michael Corello and wife Heather, Daniel Corello and wife Danielle & Stephen Corello and wife Megan; 13 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by sisters Cecelia, Lorraine, and Hilda and brother Johnny. Funeral services will be held at 11am Monday September 13, 2021 at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut Street, Catasauqua, PA 18032. His viewing will be from 10-11am Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1335 Old Carriage Rd, Northampton, PA 18067.
