Children's Saturday Ceramics Workshops
Workshop Description:
The Braddock Carnegie Arts Program is offering workshops on Saturdays for children who are interested in learning about pottery and ceramics. The workshops will be held in the Braddock Carnegie Library Ceramics Studio. There will be a morning session and an afternoon session open to children (and their parents!) who are interested in working with clay. Participants in the workshop will learn about the process of ceramics including techniques in hand building, sculpture, and wheel throwing and will have the opportunity to glaze and finish their artwork. The classes are free but each class size is limited to 15 participants and will be held on a first come first served basis. Participants must provide a valid library card at sign up.
