Hi all....won this tourney last night and a free $25 bet on the FA Cup final which is tomorrow....If Portsmouth wins 1-0 I will win my bet and that's about $150 :)  Woohoo!  Now, I can buy in to the BLPT next weekend and not feel guilty about the money!!

This week is the last week of our Battle of the Sexes League and just for fun we're putting a $10 bounty on each of the leaders to be paid by my wonderful husband ace2you!! So, it's the same as usual $5.50 buy in 3 paid and for a twist for the guys ace2you is the bounty and for the gals BitofaTart is the bounty. Thanks to everyone for joining in on the fun!!!

We were thinking about giving double points for this game but decided against it because it wouldn't be fair for those playing the whole series if someone came in now and took a place away from those that have worked so hard to get there....

Anyway, have fun on sunday and get those bounties....especially the guys because Paul doesn't believe he'll be paying any of the guys his bounty...sounds like a challenge to me...he's getting way too big a head guys...take him out is what i say

Home of the Betfred Ladies Poker Tour 2008

DETAILS have been announced for this year's “Betfred Ladies Poker Tour” .

Last year Newcastle's Lynne Beaumont was crowned Betfred's "Queen of Poker" after successfully winning the Uk's first ever female poker tour sponsored by the Warrington-based bookmaker.

This year's event has been extended to eight venues, culminating in the grand final in November.

This venue's for the 2008 compeition are:

19th APRIL ASPERS, NEWCASTLE

24th MAY STANLEY CIRCUS, LIVERPOOL

21st JUNE STANLEYS MAXIMS, READING

19th JULY NAPOLEONS OWLERTON, SHEFFIELD

16th AUG ASPERS, SWANSEA

20th SEPT STANLEYS CIRCUS, STOKE

11th OCT THE BROADWAY, BIRMINGHAM

1st NOV THE WESTERN CLUB, LONDON

22nd NOV GRAND FINAL - TIME & LOCATION TO BE CONFIRMED


Entry to each event costs £100, plus a £10 casino/card room administration fee, and Betfred are exclusive online satellites at with entry from as little as $1. Betfred are adding £1,000 to the prize pool of each regional event and £4,000 to the final prize pool.

Each regional heat winner will gain a seat in the grand final and the eventual winner will be crowned ‘Betfred Ladies Poker Tour Champion 2008’ and will win a £20,000 sponsorship package from Betfred for 2009.

Satellites as of the week of March 17, 2008 are running on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. $2 rebuy to Thursday's $22 Super Satellite that starts at 8:15 p.m.  Men or Women can play the satellites...if a man wins he can transfer it to a woman of his choosing.

at Poker Stars will be starting on Sunday, March 16, 2008 at 8 p.m. GMT (or 4p.m. EST) and is listed as 1600 in the private tourneys section.  The buy-in is $5.50 (because this is the lowest buy-in they have at Poker Stars).  The tourneys are registering NOW under the Tourneys tab under Private.  There are two different tourneys listed the first is Battle of the SexesM for men only and the password is "menrule".  Any women caught playing in this tourney will not get any points same goes if any men play in the women's tourney.  The second tourney is listed as Battle of the SexesF - for women only and the password is "womenrule".  I'm looking forward to playing in these tourneys and can't wait to start.

The points system will work as following:

1st - 15 pts.

2nd - 12 pts

3rd -  10 pts

4th - 8 pts

5th- 6 pts

6th - 5 pts

7th - 4 pts

8th - 3 pts

9th - 2 pts

10th - 1 pt.

Ladbrokes European Ladies Championship

I'm so excited right now...I've been playing the $5 satellites to get into the weekly final on and off for about a month now.  Today, I won a seat to the daily final and a poker friend (and fellow cat) and I won a seat to the weekly finals which is worth $270....the winner of that will be given a $2500 package into the European Ladies Championship in London in May.  I'm so excited to play on Monday night now!!!  What a great feeling!! I'm playing pretty good poker and quite proud of myself right now!!! Also, I've met Jen Mason on there who was my favorite player in last years ELC and she's so sweet.  She has also joined my forum and I'm honored to have her as one of my first members!!!  Life is great right now!!!  See ya everyone!!

Hi all.....I'm on the Piranha program (which is a $50/day program) at Badbeat.com and am playing poker on Grandslam poker building a bankroll with someone else's money.  As of yesterday I've made a profit of $125 in my first 9 days of playing.  The goal is $250 or more for the first 30 days.  If I'm successful, at the end of the month I will get 50% of my profit and be promoted to a Badbeat Trainer at a $200/day program they have.

You have to either play 3000 hands a week equalling 40 table hours or 50 sit n gos.  I'm mostly playing sit n gos.  My profit was $68.67 for week one and i only played 47 sit n gos because my internet went down on Sunday and I didn't get it back until Monday.  Also, in my first two days this week i'm in profit as well...made $24.07 on monday and over $33 last night...I'm well on my way to that $250 :)  I'll keep this updated on how I'm doing.  Thanks out to all my poker friends who have been supporting me on this.

 Hi Poker friends!!!  I'm in the works of creating a Battle of the Sexes Poker League and will be emailing Poker Stars today about it.  I hope to start it after the Cats Vs. Hounds League is over probably on Sundays at 9 p.m. GMT or 4 p.m. EST for my U.S. players!!  The format will be 10 men's only and 10 women's only sit n gos running at the same time and night. 

The scoring system will be:
