    Reiker Foods, Inc. has been blockading off the planet Tersa for several days. The company wasn't letting any cargo from their rivals, Tersa Foodstuffs, get off the planet. Tersa Foodstuffs is based on Tersa, and had been there for approximately 11 years. CIS was alerted when Foodstuffs managed to sneak a communiqué out with a hired privateer. Light, Medium, and Heavy fighters were rushed to the scene. After a short but tense battle, the Reiker mercenaries backed off. The CEO of Reiker Foods, Sedik Erisson, has been arrested. In an interrogation of Erisson, he stated, "I don't feel sorry for blockading Tersa. They've been stealing our business for years!" In an interview with the head of Tersa Foodstuffs, Benjamin Loft, he said that his company had, "done nothing to merit such an attack". Reiker Foods, Inc. had been in business for 36 years on Karatikus.

    Chirichan vessels attacked two merchant ships at Nav Point 39, not too far from their Draknor base at Nav Point 153. The merchants were carrying sick humanoids to Crius. The attack was picked up on CIS sensors during a standard patrol. There were over a dozen Chirichan fighters, say reports, and the 3 Lights could not help the merchants enough. Due to the overwhelming opposition, and under manning CIS forces, the merchants and their cargo were lost. Reinforcements were not available at the time of combat. Heavier patrols are now being conducted at and around that Nav Point.

    A person going only by the name of "Scorpio" had supposedly kidnapped Governor Noram Blagger's daughter, Elizabeth, several days ago. After a long and involved search, involving both CIS forces and hired civilians, she was found dead in her apartment. It is not known who exactly killed her, although CIS Intelligence believes that Scorpio gave the fatal blow. Ser Lev
Arris killed Scorpio later.

    A large battle occurred between Jincilla fighters and CIS forces at Nav Point 89, resulting in a shortage of CIS fighters in that region. The intensity of the battle required that destroyers be brought in. The Jincilla used most of the types of fighters at their disposal; Veldors, Tacons, several Skulls, and approximately 3 Cruisers. Despite the severity of the attack, it is still unknown as to what the Jincilla attempted to accomplish. The battle lasted almost one-and-a-half hours. The estimated price for replacing the lost ships is about 4,642,000 credits.

    Kiowan vessels attacked a CIS Cargo-Carrier shuttling weapons to Hades at Nav Point 161. The Kiowans had Vectors and Krells. The more-than-adequate CIS escorts took care off the Kiowans with no casualties and little damage. The Kiowans lost exactly 8 Vectors and 3 Krells. However, in the middle of the fray, a Kiowan Cruiser with Leighat escorts jumped in. In the end, the Cargo-Carrier had moderate damage, and CIS losses were three Lights and one Medium.

    On Terrel, Brian Dunnahiey was murdered in his apartment. Having died of an apparent laser blast, he was found lying on a couch, face up. After examining some foreign DNA strands found on the victim's clothing, Rima Dowding, the victim's girlfriend, was found to be the suspect. During an interrogation, she confessed that her husband was cheating on her, so she, "blasted the living shit out of him". She was convicted, and sentenced to 20 years on Hades.

    Four Papogod Temblers, two Ashearers, and a Papogod shuttle attacked a civilian convoy en route to Bex. The convoy consisted of three Drakkars, two Ogans, one Illa, and two Duress. The Ogans and Illa were carrying fertilite, fluffy rodents, and lumber. It is still unknown as to why the Papogod would want to destroy such targets. The entire convoy was destroyed, and while they did get off a distress signal, local CIS craft did not arrive in time to save them.

    Jake Florence stole 150,000,000 credits from the First Humanist Bank, on the planet Anhur. Lord Mike Vonx hired mercenaries to hunt down and capture Florence, who is an Anhur native. After chasing him through Navs 12, 11, and 10, CIS Medium Fighters headed him off. This gave back up CIS and Vonx's mercenaries time to catch up. One of the Medium Fighters was lost, and the stolen money was recovered.

    Three Kindred Vendettas were spotted attacking Senator Ames's shuttle while en route to Hermes for a business engagement. The senator's escorts (two Heretics) were picked off at long range by the pirate ships, before the attack was made on the shuttle. Luckily, three CIS Light Fighters were on patrol, who called for back up before attacking the Kindred. The Lights were badly damaged when four Medium Fighters and two Heavy Fighters jumped in, suprising the raiders. When one severely damaged Vendetta remained, three more Vendettas arrived, and, suprisingly a Papogod Cruiser along, two Papogod Ashaerers. The CIS escorts, who made an excellent diversion while Senator Ames jumped out, quickly requested more friendly forces. Reinforcements consisted of a CIS Carrier and 3 Three Extra-Heavy Fighters. The enemy shattered upon the craft streaming out of our Carrier, and the Papogod Cruiser was destroyed by the Extra-Heavies. As a side note, the senator stated, "I think that I'll hire more escorts the next time I head off-planet."

    An unidentified Danrik destroyed two civilian craft over Crius. Crius communicated with CIS about the incident, and they dispatched a few fighters to the surrounding jump points to check it out. Two Medium Fighters intercepted it first at Nav 56. They were suprisingly destroyed, and the renegade ship continued on-course. It then ran into a force of 4 Heavy Fighters and 1 Destroyer that was not on alert. They were caught by surprise, and destroyed. It was confirmed that they used a Hellraiser Torpedo to destroy the Destroyer.

    At Nav 63, they met up with another patrol: 2 Extra-Heavy fighters. Reinforcements were called in before they were destroyed, giving HQ the Danrik's new position. Strike forces AP4, RP7, and SC2 were called in, and other near-by patrols were given the order to intercept. At Nav 109, advanced back up in the form of 2 Medium fighters and a Destroyer met up with the rebel. They held it off for about 2 minutes and 54 seconds, allowing then to confirm that the Danrik had new ordinance called "Kraven Mk. IV's". They had a DPPH of 80, a speed of 10,000 km/s, a range of probably 30,000 km, and a blast radius of almost 2 m. It was also confirmed that the Danrik must have had an Advanced Repair Droid on board; otherwise the damage it had sustained would had significantly crippled it.

    Once the Danrik had jumped into Nav 111, it met up with the waiting resistance of Strike Force RP7. The craft in this detachment held the renegade off for approximately 10 minutes and 3 seconds before being destroyed, giving other CIS forces time to arrive. The nav point was surrounded, and more fighters were coming in. This target was made top priority by HQ - but when three entire strike forces, 7 patrols squads, and 4 task forces (some of which had been pulled out of combat) bottled up Nav 111 and its surrounding navs, the Danrik had been considered to be soon destroyed, and HQ left it alone. Unfortunately, and amazingly, within two hours and 11 minutes of combat, all forces fell before the Danrik, and CIS could not get any more back-up to the nav quickly enough to stop the Danrik from jumping out. It is currently unknown as to where the Danrik went to, and estimated totals for lost CIS craft number nearly two-hundred. The approximate total for how much money it will take to replenish these ships is unknown, but it is believed to be into the middle billions. More will be added to this file as events progress.

    Anhur Robotics, Inc. was caught stealing ore from Karaktikus Alloys, a business involved in the mining, production, and selling of various expensive metals and minerals. Karaktikus Alloys became suspicious when their overall production rate did not match up with their overall selling rate. They called for CIS help. CIS checked over the files for the past five months, reviewed the the transport routes, questioned employees, then narrowed things down to Anhur Robotics. They set up security cameras about the mining facility, production factory, and sales department. Finally, they caught Anhur Robotics in the act. The company was shut down immediately, and those directly involved in the crime were sent to prison.

    Transgo, an affiliate of The Tri-Ships Co., allegedly hired hitmen to assassinate Edward Catann, an independent Brikrete dealer. Catann apparently did not want to sell a certain amount of Brikrete to Transgo, saying that, "my supply of Brikrete is limited, and I can't go around giving 1,000 units of it to anyone who asks!" When Catann did not give Transgo the 1,200 units of Brikrete that was requested, Transgo hired hitmen to track down and kill Catann. Two Heretics jumped Catann's Illa Mk. II on Nav 211. Two CIS Heavy Fighters happened to be in the area, which called on three Medium Fighters for help, who were one jump away. The Heretics were destroyed, and Catann's ship was only lightly damaged. Transgo officials were not saying anything on the matter, and will be tried in two weeks.

    Seven Chirichan Testmos attacked a CIS strike force on Nav 144. The strike force, #PP8, consisted of 2 Destroyers, 1 Capital Ship, 6 Light Fighters, 4 Medium Fighters, and 4 Heavy Fighters. Force SP3 was not far behind, and was quickly notified of the situation. However, the entirety of PP8 was nullified due to Binary Sickness Emitter Mk. IIs. None of the ships were equipped with Signal Filters, and were destroyed almost immediately. But SP3 was almost completely equipped with the
Filters, save for a few Light Fighters. The 3 Lights, 3 Mediums, 4 Heavies, 2 Extra-Heavies, 2 Destroyers, and 1 Cruiser made short work of the Chirichans. The force, with a still-sizable amount of ships remaining, retrieved the ejected CIS pilots and continued on course. The Chirichans, it is believed, attacked in order to protect a convoy of illicit goods being shipped just a few jumps away. This convoy was the two strike forces' targets, and it was destroyed with minimal losses to SC3. However, PP8 was completely destroyed, and had a net worth of about 1,600,000 credits.

    Dougless Willamette, a merchant, turned pirate when he attacked a convoy of Rodenta Kalclone (Fluffy Rodents). The convoy consisted of a Monolith, a Heretic, and an Illa Mk. I. It was obliterated by a Nuke 'Em, which Willamette was carrying. Terrel, which is where the slaughtering took place, sent a message to CIS. Four Medium Fighters were dispatched, and Willamette's Ogan was no match for the military fighters. He surrendered, and is now imprisoned on Hades. Apparently, the destroyed merchant was a rival of Willamette's, who was the victim of revenge. The two other ships in the convoy were a hired cargo ship and a hired wingman.

    Four Kindred Vendettas were detected on an intercept course for the civilian mercenary, Ser Xavier Shondi. Several CIS Light Fighters moved to help Ser Shondi. When the Vendettas arrived, three more Vendettas and two Kindred Cruisers arrived. A  pitched battle took place, with CIS forces beginning to weaken. A distress call was sent out, and several other mercenaries responded. Among them was Ser Bryan Kalclovic and Ser Lev Arris. The third was unidentified. Using superior firepower from Arris' Danrik, Kalclovic's Heretic, and the third pilot's Duress, the Kindred were all destroyed; no one survived. Two Light Fighters were lost, and three others were heavily damaged. Ser Shondi managed to jump out in the middle of the fray, without CIS being able to question him.     A lone Jincilla Tacon encountered a CIS patrol of 3 Light Fighters. The fighters were destroyed presumably quickly, because they didn't manage to get a distress signal off. The Tacon continued on to Nav 36, where it found six waiting Medium Fighters. Within seconds of the combat beginning, three Jincilla Skulls, four more Tacons, two Shuttles, and a Cruiser jumped in. A battle ensued, with CIS calling for backup. When only one Medium Fighter remained, a Carrier, two Destroyers, and six Heavy Fighters jumped in. The Carrier began launching fighters quickly, and CIS was overwhelming the Jincilla force. Then, matters were made more complicated when a Chirichan strike force of eight Testmos, four Herons, three Shuttles, and a Cruiser jumped in. They had unwittingly jumped in to a large battle that was already taking place; which had just gotten larger. CIS had to call in two more patrols and a task force just to keep up with the rising opposition! The four Lights, seven Mediums, two Heavies, two Extra-Heavies, and one Destroyer that arrived seemed to keep things looking good for CIS. But just then, the situation got even more unbelievable: Papogod ships hit the Nav point. A Papogod Shuttle, being escorted by six Temblers, had joined the fray. Very soon, the Papogod called for reinforcements, as did the Jincilla, who had originally started the whole conflict. Eight Jincilla Vectors, along with another Cruiser, jumped in. Then six Kindred Blades and four Papogod Ecantonas jumped in. CIS was forced to request more reinforcements. Strike Force SP3 came to the rescue. It was comprised of three Lights, three Mediums, four Heavies, two Extra-Heavies, two Destroyers, and a Cruiser. The battle had turned in favor of CIS once again. But just to top things off, by coincidence once again, a patrol of two Kiowan Krells jumped in. Of course, they didn't help the pirates any, and CIS finished all opposition off. Several prisoners were taken, and will be interrogated. CIS losses are around 3,720,400 credits. Pirate losses are in the billions of credits.

    A routine patrol found a cargo ship carrying pleasure borgs. When CIS found that the shipment belonged to the infamous pleasure borg dealer Jak Enrightt, we devised a plan. We sent in a Special Forces team to capture the cargo, and rig the pleasure borgs with explosives. That way, when the illicit goods were activated, they would explode. The cargo ship was then sent on its way, being piloted by CIS operatives, where it landed at its destination on Orthos. The borgs were distributed to their "owners", which resulted in their demise. Then CIS dispatched a task force, consisting of a group of large military ships, and destroyed the pleasure borg dealership, killing Ser Enrightt.

    A strike was led on Hades by the Papogod pirate group. The force consisted of 12 Temblers, 8 Ecantonas, 6 Ashearers, 4 Shuttles, and 2 Cruisers. The fleet was completely undetected for quite a while, and it got within three jumps of Hades airspace before a patrol picked it up on scanners. All available craft were dispatched frantically to stop the Papogod, and the opposing armada met with significant CIS resistance at Nav 44. 6 Lights, 9 Mediums, 3 Heavies, and a Cruiser attempted to hold the pirates off. They failed. The entire resistance was crushed, with about 80% of the strike force intact. They jumped to Nav 36, where a Destroyer, 3 Cruisers, 4 Extra-Heavies, and numerous lesser ships were waiting. They held the Papogod at bay for an extended period of time, hoping that reinforcements would arrive soon.

    Meanwhile, civilian volunteers and other military ships were rushing to Hades' aid. But they had two large battles of their own: Papogod had their own reinforcements coming through Navs 0 and 45. The fleets were about the size as the original one, and they were apparently blockading off Hades! So as civilians and military reinforcements struggled to break through to Hades, the primary enemy fleet was pushing through Nav 36. With no back-up, the CIS resistance was beginning to crumble. Luckily, so was the Papogod armada. However, a few ships at a time were being sent from the blockade points to help out the strike force. The CIS craft fell, and the Papogod had a straight shot at Hades....almost. Although there were no ships at Nav 50, there was a few suprises over Hades itself. The approximate count protecting Hades was: 36 Light Fighters, 26 Medium Fighters, 14 Heavy Fighters, 10 Extra-Heavy Fighters, 3 Destroyers, a Carrier, and a Dreadnought. CIS swarmed the already badly damaged Papodgod fleet. It was annihilated.

    Back at the blockades, CIS and civilians were just making progress on completely destroying the Papogod presence, when they got a surprise. More Papogods had closed up on the prevailing CIS, bottling them up at Navs 0 and 45. With no where to run, they were dropping off. Just then, the huge force that had just successfully defended Hades moved on to Nav 0. Once again, Papogod forces were swarmed and disintegrated, giving the nearby Karatikus a repeat of what Hades saw. With two fleets down, and one to go, the combined CIS groups moved on to Nav 45. The pirates had sent more reinforcements to this nav, compared to the other, so CIS actually took more than a minute to beat the Papogod. But with all three forces gone, all seemed safe.

    But CIS HQ remained leery, and ordered the large group to split in two and guard both ways into Hades. They waited for 5 minutes. Then 10. Finally, after 12 ½ minutes, more Papogod showed up. This time, the forces were slightly less than what was previously sent, but even though the CIS fleet was divided, it still could put up an excellent front to the incoming pirates. Within 4 minutes, both groups reported all enemies eliminated.

    After all was recorded and checked over, the ship loss on the Papogod side was near 150, which was almost ¾ of a billion credits worth. CIS lost roughly 75 ships, which cost about 100,000,000 credits.

    Another attack has been led on civilian convoys, thanks to the Kiowan Pirate Clan. This time, four Krells attacked a convoy ferrying weapons. The convoy was bound for a nearby CIS outpost. The cargo ships had three civilian escorts, which held the pirates off for a fair amount of time. Within five minutes, the pirates were easily picked off. The cargo ships were only lightly damaged.
