The front cement work on the dining hall has been done and plants have been placed around the baby fish pond to help beautify the grounds. The bougainvilleas, that my mother had grown from cuttings, have been hung on the balcony for a finishing touch. Although they looked beautiful hanging on the sides of the balcony and other places, my father actually took them to Miracle without asking her if he could have them for Miracle. Needless to say that hurt her deeply, even more so when a drought that next summer caused many of them to die for lack of water and people to go around the school to water all the plants. |
