Miracle Road Cavites

Not really sure why they are carrying bamboo poles but this picture shows much of the cavites (stone terrace work) that the students did by the end of the 1962 school year. They actually went just a little bit past the curve (top of picture) along both sides of the road. The arrow pointing to the top (G) shows the stone pathway to the Gomez' house and the other one (V) points down towards the valley area. Notice that stone steps were built leading down into the area. Those early students worked very hard and get a lot of credit for making Miracle Mountain beautiful.
