After getting the land, while it was being cleaned up, my dad had this sign made to announce the new Bible College. It was near the main highway and marked the boundary of Miracle Mountain. Whether one was going to or coming from town, the sign could be easily seen by all. It was also visible to ships out in the China Sea, coming into the harbor, day or night. Often times my father received letters that mentioned the cross and how comforting it was for the men on the ships to see it as they came into port or were on their ships at sea.
