That December, as usual, many of the students went home for their two weeks Christmas break. In the above picture, their bags are packed and they are waiting for their ride. As is partially seen in the picture, there was a large paper Christmas lantern hung above the front stairway. Lanterns like these were very popular Christmas decorations and could be seen all around town. |
