After the faculty nipa houses were moved, work got started on building the stone terraced stadium. Although there is no way to prove this now, my father once told me that when word went out that he wished to have cavites (stone terraces)built on Miracle Mountain an entire tribe of Igorots (mountain people)came to Miracle; women and children included. They had been converted under my father's ministry in the early 1950's and came to show their gratitude for his coming to them with the gospel. They were the ones who started the stadium and helped with other cavites that were built. Below is another picture.
