 My father befriended Mr. Edwin Striggle who worked for the Philippine Air Lines and he was very instrumental in helping my father bring back many large packages during his trips abroad. Then Mr. Striggle and some others from the airline came over to visit Miracle and see for themselves the work they had been helping. Here, the children are giving flower leis to Mr. and Mrs. Striggle that were made for them (see picture below). While at Miracle, they came to see the Children’s Home and saw me distributing the few clothes I had brought over for the children and the long line still waiting to receive something. That touched their hearts. Upon their returning to work, they organized a huge clothing drive among their fellow workers. Not too long later some people arrived at Miracle with a number of huge boxes filled with clothes from the employees of Philippine Air Lines. There was enough for the children and also the students. Miracle was truly blessed by these heart warming, loving, and caring people. Another picture below.
