The long building on the left side was the nipa and bamboo dining hall and classroom. Behind it was the kitchen and wash area. The nipa and bamboo structures on the right were the men's dorm (front) and either faculty dwellings or classrooms behind the men's dorm. Notice the pond in the foreground, before being stone terraced. At that time my father had it stocked with tilapia; a very tasty fish. Here, we are (Shields' children)fishing with the Gomez' sons.
