This website is the result of a burden given by God and developed in the hearts and minds of the writers involved. Our burden is our purpose and mission statement. This burden that so motivates us is three-fold.

First, our burden is for the souls of men enslaved to sin and entrapped by the snares of this world, for whom Christ paid so great a price.

Secondly, our burden is for those who hold the truth, and who, whether out of ignorance, apathy, or malicious intent, deny the power and purpose thereof.

Thirdly, our burden is for true Bible Christianity to take its position as the salt and light of this world, and for those who claim such close adherence to the fundamentals of the faith to take their God given responsibilities to compassionately, intelligently and diligently contend for the faith.

As said in the Word of God, “There is no new thing under the sun.” We at Contend.com are able to do nothing more than confirm that fact. There are no new thoughts, only new thinkers. There are no new statements. There are only those who state things in better way. When we read or hear statements that are new to us, we cling to those that most attract our memory to do so.

The reader may be assured that the following is nothing new. If there is anything found on this site that is attractive enough to be kept in the memory of the reader, it is to no one’s honor except the one “in whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge”, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ the Righteous.
