Birthplace: Unknown as of yet. He is a naturally occurring elemental though, which is rare with balefires.

Abilities: Bane's abilities are few, but powerful. He can change into a human-like form, though it isn't particularly convincing if examined closely. He constantly exudes a highly toxic radioactive flame from the open parts of his skin and mouth. The touch of these flames both burns and warps, changing any living tissue to something terrifying and strange. He is incredibly fast on his mismatched legs and clever, though he rarely shows his speed or strength unless in a fight.

Personality: While intelligent and conscious of himself (something not many balefires are) Bane is as twisted inside as he is outside. He has no sense of morals or empathy. He is sadistic and will what he wants simply because he wants to.

History: Not much is known about Bane's past, even to Bane himself. It took him centuries to become self-aware and centuries more to move past the violent fog of his youth. When Dai'chym was freed he sought out the powerful demon with the intention of fighting him.

However he happened to first gaze upon Dai as he devastated a human village, laying waste to all life for miles. He knew he could never hope to stand up to such a force. So instead he joined forces with him.
