Name: Dai'chym Age: 3000+ years Height: 5 foot to the shoulder Weight: Unkown Gender: Male Species: Dragon and wolf Type: Demon Birthplace: A deep, ancient forest well away from any negative powers or influences. Now he lives in a tower he fashioned himself, which is nearly impossible to find. Weapon: Fangs and claws. Abilities: Dai has a wide array of abilities. His most favored are the abilities to steal and consume souls and crush the minds of weaker individuals. His strength and speed are also extremely high. He can use telekinetic and telepathic powers to attack and take down his foes without ever moving, so his physical prowess is sometimes overlooked. His abilities also include being able to raise demons and the dead to do his bidding, send the living to Hell, cloak himself in shadows, teleport, and shapeshift. Personality: Dai'chym is very loud and coarse in his manner. He seems to care only for himself, and find great delight in the suffering of others. History: Dai was born as the younger twin of Swiftbolt. He and Swifty were born to a common wolf deep in a forest far from humans, a mixture of wolf and dragon. Neither were mortal, granted long life and power by the gods as protectors of the natural world against the rising human threat. The wolf mother died during birth, and the infants were found the next morning by two elves. The elves were unable to care for the infants and were confounded by their nature, so they were given to a small community of elementals to raise. The elementals were better able to understand the needs of the young ones, so they raised and nurtured them to young adulthood. As Dai and his brother grew, and their purpose discovered, the small community attracted others to come and see them and help in their education. Dragons, elves, spirits... all sorts of beings came. Unfortunately, Dai'chym was never very outgoing or light-hearted like his brother. So while he was respected, people generally kept their distance from him and flocked to his brother. Always behind Swiftbolt, and smaller, and less liked... After a while he grew resentful. Then the resentment turned into bitterness, then to anger. Soon he began to outright hate Swiftbolt and everyone who loved and admired him. The hatred even blinded him to the people who were close to him, to the one who even loved him. Intent upon showing everyone that his brother wasn't so great, Dai'chym left the community and sought out the demons, descending into their fiery Pit. He sold his soul to gain power, thus transforming himself into a demon and radically changing his appearance. And once the power was his, he turned on the demon overlord who had struck the bargain with him and destroyed him, reclaiming his soul but remaining a demon forever after. Dai'chym set up a tower to rule from and raised an army with with to battle his brother with. And so the Immortal War was waged. For nearly a year all manners of creatures fought with each other, with Swiftbolt and Dai'chym at the reigns, though Swiftbolt never did want to fight. Dai'chym, growing impatient, set up a trap for Swiftbolt. He invited his brother to his tower under the pretense of a peace talk, though Swiftbolt had to come alone. Trusting as always, Swiftbolt came, and was caught in the magical void Dai had set up. Revelling his victory, Dai'chym was caught unawares when one of Swiftbolt's generals came and, in turn, imprisoned the great demon inside of a sword created specifically to hold him. Dai'chym never saw who it was that had captured him. For three thousand years both brothers remained locked in their own dark prisons, neither one able to get free without setting the other loose. And all that time Dai'chym grew in power and his evil thoughts and intentions intensified. Both brothers were eventually freed, but how and why and by whom has yet to be uncovered.
