Name: Hakan Age: 5, but physically about 16 Height: 5'6" Weight: 115 lbs Gender: Male Species: Elf and unicorn/kirin Type: Experimental mix of fire elemental and an elf. Birthplace: The same laboratory that produced Quercus and several other anomalies. After the escape of the experiments, the lab was shut down. Weapon: Sharp nails, fire powers, fists. Abilities: Manifestation of fire and manipulation of fire. He can change into a fiery kirin-like form, but only under the control of Dai'chym. His control of his powers are also linked to the demon. Unaffiliated his control is almost non-existent. Trying to use them can end up with anything from nothing to a powerful explosion. Personality: Hakan is extremely young and naive. He is very trusting, and therefore very apt to be taken advantage of. He wears his emotions plainly and those emotions are quite strong and prone to change without warning. Generally he is very happy and carefree. He is also something of a coward in the face of danger. History: Hakan was created as one part of an experiment by humans to try and harness the powers of the elementals. He was born from a fusion of an infant elf child with the essence of a fire elemental. He was put into a tank to speed up his growth and development. In three years he was already at puberty and taken out of the tank. The essence of the elemental, as per its nature, shaped itself in accordance to the child's personality. It took a form somewhere between a unicorn and a kirin. The child was named Hakan, and he was placed in a cell next to the second part of the experiment, a human child that was fused with the essence of the same fire elemental by the name of Aidan. Soon the two had adopted each other as siblings, and bonded very closely. Hakan, who had never known any other being that had truly loved him, was devastated when Aidan died within a year. The fire elemental essence that had fused so thoroughly with his mortal body could not fuse with Aidan's human body. Always weak and sick, it burned her cells from within. Just when Hakan felt he could not bear to live in this Hell-like laboratory, the power shut off. Uncertain of quite what was going on and what it meant, he slipped out of his cage in the chaos and slipped away along with nearly all of the other experiments. He fled from the lab and the city, getting as far away as he could, reveling all the while in his newfound freedom and the wonders of a world he had never seen. But Hakan was naive, and easily hurt, as none of the sentient beings he met wanted anything to do with him. They called him a freak and abomination. Some even chased him away. Lonely and confused, he fled deep into a forest and curled up at the base of a massive tree. He never noticed the approach of the demon until he was before him. At first frightened, Hakan slowly fell under the sway of the charismatic and understanding words of Dai'chym. And so the young, uncertain half-elf half-fire elemental boy found himself working for the demon lord, chasing a strange shadow elemental and her chimera friend and a human girl traveling with a fellow experiment escapee. Granted power by the demon, channeled through a strange golden pendant, he found himself able to fight and defend himself competently. Eventually Hakan chose to be released from Dai'chym's rule, and joined Panther in her quest, though he rarely travels with her. Songs: Coming soon.
