Name: Xhyniss Age: Thought to be about 35 years Height: nearly 8 foot to the shoulder Weight: Unknown Gender: Male Species: Chimera (lion, eagle, snake, goat) Type: N/A Birthplace: A petrified forest in the foothills of the mountains. He resided there until recently, when he started to travel with Panther. Weapon: Fangs and claws and snake tail's venom. Abilities: Xhyniss's magic is inate to him and his kind. It flows in his veins. His hide is highly resistant to most magics and he is a very fast healer and excellent hunter. He does, however, have an amulet that he wears constantly that allows him to shapeshift at will, though it can tire him quickly. Without the amulet, however, he is stuck in one form. Personality: Xhyniss is very young as his kind go, and so acts every inch the young, brash, strutting male. He is loud and obnoxious and somewhat rude. He also tends to be pushy and bullying, though he is quite able to back up his actions. However, once someone has proven themselves to him, he is very docile and acquiesent to their wishes. History: Xhyniss was born and raised in a petrified forest. No one knows what became of his mother, but she was gone by the time he came of age. For a while he simply patrolled the forest, attacking all intruders and successfully running out or destroying all of them. But when Panther stepped into his forest... simply passing through on one of her wandering journeys... his luck came to an end. He attacked her as he did with the ones before her, charging from the misty gloom of the forest... But try as he might he couldn't strike her. He had no experience fighting someone who could move between shadows and who had literally hundreds of years of experience on him (and more... since elementals will not die unless killed by an outside force). He lost the fight, and could not understand why. Panther left him to lick his wounds, but she wasn't rid of him yet. A couple of days later she discovered him following her. He was determined to find out why she was able to beat him, and become stronger himself. She allowed him to come along, giving him the blue amulet he wears constantly now. Inside the amulet is the captured powers of a water elemental she had found on a human... one who had contracted a demon to make the amulet.
