Shades on Twilight

Main Objectives: Investigate the Space Hulk codenamed "Twilight" to discover the source of the signal matching the famous Inquisitor Adorjin's.

Secure Adorjin's blade, the Luminous Reproach if possible.

+++Mission Log+++

The players are introduced to Brother Sergeant Agamorr of the Deathwatch. They all cheer "yay space marine! yas!!".

Carrius freezes in terror as Warp Beasts attack. They chew on Kraks leg for a a couple of rounds of combat (whilst he yells whaddya mean it's ignoring my armour?) before getting put down by combined attacks from everyone.

They meet a warp ghost of a small girl...Zethena protests "it wasn't me!" .

The players take down a Dark Eldar Scout who blows on a strange glass whistle before he dies.

Everyones shocked when the Space Marine holds off a tide of Warp Beasts, shouting at them all to move while he gives them time to run. There's sounds of fighting till the vox link gos dead... they're now on their own.

The Acolytes meet another team sent by the Inquisition, and decide to team up, retreating into a Black Ship as the Warp Beasts return.. thankfully though they seem scared of the ship and back away.

The Acolytes then meet the dead crew of the ship and most of them run and hide leaving Zethena, Cutter and Carrius to talk to them. There a crazy Priest type named Crovus who badgers them a bit before Ishtan Vogel interceeds. They argue and seem to want the Acolytes to side with one of them, they stay neutral and wisely don't mention they're Inquisition agents before Vogel wanders off. Cutter stays to humour Crovus while the others follow Vogel to a quiet room and find out he once was an Acolyte too in service to Adorjin.

Vogel leads them to Adorjins body and they clamber up the frozen body of the Inquisitor and the slain daemon. Whilst Carrius (the partys holy man) is pulling the blade free, the young feral assassin Yada decides to mutter a prayer of respect!

They grab Adorjins book as well and pass it to Sergeant Forden of the other team who decides to run off with the book! He throws some hallucinogen grenades amongst the all which only affects Soldevans Team since everyone else is sitting happy with their rebreathers.

In the final show down poor Krak gets a barrage of Splinter Rifle fire from the numerous squads attacking them all. Inez manages to burn their Corsair but gets a nasty Dark Eldar weapon used on him in return. Between Yada, Cutter, Carrius and Zethena with her crackling hammerhand they take down 2 strange grotesque like creatures but everyone is starting to feel the hurt with the sheer numbers facing them. At the last moment though a battered and torn Brother Sergeant Agamorr crashes the party scattering the Dark Eldar with his Thunder Hammer drenched in Warp Beast gore. The Dark Eldar retreat and everyone evacuates on the escape pods.
