Limitations:
Overload: Possibly since he is still made of flesh, a high enough level of energy was able to seemingly burn him from the inside and kill him. Barry had mentally accessed more of his power and therefore generated so much more energy than he did when he lost his powers to Farooq the first time. The second time Farooq tried absorbing The Flash's powers, it overwhelmed him and his skin and head glowed yellow with the massive energy surges in his body until he died, nullifying all the energy in him.
