Welcome to the Driftless Wisconsin Self-Guided Art Tour!
Long ago when the glacier shelf slid down over the northern sections of the United States it stopped short of an area of southwest Wisconsin now called the driftless area. Pristine soaring bluffs populated with age-old oaks and maples nestle together creating coulees (valleys) and sky-riding ridges. Eagles soar and fish jump in the Kickapoo, Wisconsin, and Mississippi Rivers. Deer, bear, and many other furry creatures inhabit the forests.
This is also home to some of the most imaginative artists to be found in this country.
Dr Evermor never thinks small. His all-metal Forevertron speaks spaceage and 19th Century language at the same time. Ready to transport the good doctor to another world with music and eats and treats. Free admission.
Ellis Nelson has well-earned notoriety in the art world. He has been sculpting metal for over 20 years and is in major collections throughout the planet. He is especially known for his birds and Grim Reapers.
LuLu Fry executes ravishingly vibrant paintings, haunting photography, concrete sculptures, and is now mentoring with the Birdman in metal sculptures. Her art is in many collections throughout the states and abroad.

Madison:
Take Hwy 14 (at Hwy 78 make a decison to either go to the Forevertron first OR Ellis Nelson’s and Lulu’s Art-O-Rama.)
Forevertron...Take Hwy 78 N (right), turn on Hwy 12. The Forevertron is just S of Baraboo. Look for the Badger Armory, Delaney’s Surplus is on the left. The Forevertron is behind Delaney’s.
Ellis and LuLu...Stay on Hwy 14 to Gotham, go W (left) on Hwy 60, turn S (left) on Hwy 80. Go through Muscoda, turn E (left) and Ellis Nelson’s is immediately on the left.
Iowa:
From Dubuque take Hwy 35/151 to Hwy 61, to Mt Zion, here turn E (right) onto County W, go 2 miles to LuLu’s Art-O-Rama.
Take County W... S to Hwy 6o, turn E (left), 60 to Hwy 80, turn S (right), go through Muscoda, turn E (left) and Ellis Nelson’s is immediately on the left.
Go back to Hwy 60, drive E to Sauk City, turn N (left) onto Hwy 12. The Forevertron is located approximately 5 miles S of Baraboo. Look for the Badge Amory, to the W id Delaney’s Surplus. The Forevertron is behind Delaney’s.
Twin Cities:
Take I-94, exit onto Hwy 12, The Forevertron is just S of Baraboo. Look for the Badger Armory, Delaney’s Surplus is on the left. The Forevertron is behind Delaney’s.

Milwaukee:
