Shalii Age: 19 Hair color: black Hair style: chin length, straight Eye color: grey Character Discription: Shalii is quiet and thoughtful, although she thinks quickly and answers questions easily most of the time as well. She is quite methodical, as she completely finishes one thing before moving on to another. She is somewhat decent with people, although sometimes she doesn't quite know how to respond to something that they say or do. She likes firelizards and canines, although she only tolerates felines. If she finds a feline in her rooms, she wil often have Bereth locate and name its owner while she drags it back to them by the scruff of its neck. Then she thoroughly cleans her rooms. No doubt becuase she is allergic to felines. Physical Discription: Shalii, as said above, has chin-length black hair and gray eyes. What is not said above is that her hair sweeps forwards slightly, so that it ends near the edges of her mouth. She has tanned skin and stands at 5'8", with a slim build which does not show off her wiry strength. She has many small scras on her hands, mainly her fingers, from cutting herself while carving or otherwise working wood. Character's History: Born and raised in Lamen Hold, she was Searched as a queen candidate at 17 and did just that. Her parents were both journeryman woodsmiths, and she had been apprenticed to the craft as well. Not that her fingers liked it. When she attended the Hatching at Eastern Island Weyr, she Impressed the queen, Bereth. That was about a year and a half ago. Now her queen is nearing maturity at 17 months old. Dragon: Bereth Dragon discription: Bereth likes to ask questions. In fact, she likes to simply know everything! She has often woken Shalii in the middle of the night because she thought of a new question, and doesn't want to forget to ask. Bereth is a pale, almost fragile-seeming gold, although she is already larger than most and still has a month or so to get before reaching full size. After all, unless she stops growing now (which isn't likely), she's going to be at least three feet longer than most queens. She's already 42 and a half feet long! Pets: Shalii has a brown firelizard from before she was Searched, named Before, and a green named After, this one from an egg bought at a Gather a year after Impressing.
