Brenda Kay Himmelberger was born in Walla Walla, Washington and has studied art her entire life. Even though there was not art classes available in her schools, she still had the inner drive to draw and paint.
At Walla Walla College she had an Art and Journalism double majors. Then she had to change plans and study accounting, but never gave up on art.
In 1997 Brenda began showing her art professionally, and in 1998-2001 she won many National and International awards, miniatures being her favorites.
Brenda started forensic art in 1998 and became Certified in 2000, and then re-Certified at the Secret Service training facility in 2003.
She has had success on many cases, and is always continuing her forensic education.
Volunteer teaching art at the local school and giving workshops, and lectures on design, drawing, and painting keep her interest sharp.
Her family of 4 children, and a very supportive husband, makes Brenda's life complete.
She can be reached at: E-Mail: himmel@televar.com
Examples of her work can be seen at Doe Network
