Figure 1.26. On the left is a pair of input terminals. The lower one connects to the bottom line of the circuit. The upper one connects to the switch rotor. The symbol is an arrowhead on the end of a line pointing up. Above this is a string of resistors. The first on the left is labeled R5. Hanging down from the left end of R5 is a line with a small circle on its end. This is one of the switch stator contacts. This stator is labeled 250 v. The right end of R5 connects to the left end of R4. There is another switch stator hanging down from the junction of R5 and R4. It is labeled 50 v. In the same manner R4 connects to R3 and the stator at this point is labeled 10 v. The switch rotor, arrowhead, is shown touching this stator point. R3 connects to R2 and the stator is labeled 2.5 v. R2 connects to R1 and the stator is labeled 1 v. The right end of R1 connects to the top, positive end, of the microamp meter. The bottom end of the meter connects to the bottom line of the circuit.
