The LSB buffer output goes through a resistor labeled 2R then through another resistor labeled 2R to ground. The next bit goes through a 2R resistor then one labeled R to the junction of the two previous resistors labeled 2R. The next bit goes through a 2R resistor then an R resistor to the junction of the 2R and R resistors. The MSB goes through a 2R resistor then an R resistor to the previous 2R and R resistors. The junction of these last 2R and R resistors goes to the inverting input of an op amp. There is a resistor labeled R connected from the output of the op amp to its inverting input.
