Q1 has its base hanging in the air. It is presumed that it is connected to a signal source of some type, maybe a similar transistor amplifier stage. The emitter of Q1 goes to ground through a 330 ohm resistor. The collector goes to Vcc through a 1 k ohm resistor. The collector also goes through a 10 ohm resistor to the base of Q2. The collector of Q2 connects to Vcc. The emitter of Q2 goes to ground through a 2.2 k ohm resistor. The emitter also goes through a 10 ohm resistor to the base of Q3.
