Figure 6.13 Wide Band Amplifier. In this diagram Vcc is at the top and ground is at the bottom. All three transistors in this diagram are N P N bipolar junction type. Q1 has its base hanging in the air. It is presumed that it is connected to a signal source of some type, maybe a similar transistor amplifier stage. The emitter of Q1 goes to ground through a 330 ohm resistor. The collector goes to Vcc through a 1 k ohm resistor. The collector also goes through a 10 ohm resistor to the base of Q2. The collector of Q2 connects to Vcc. The emitter of Q2 goes to ground through a 2.2 k ohm resistor. The emitter also goes through a 10 ohm resistor to the base of Q3. The emitter of Q3 goes through a 330 ohm resistor to ground. The collector goes through a 1 k ohm resistor to Vcc. The collector also goes to another unseen amplifier stage.
