Tight Coil or Peg Shape This is one of the basic quilling shapes.	Grape Roll Shape A variation of the tight roll or peg shape very often used for the center of flowers.
Loose Coil Shape This shape is the base or starting point for most of the coil shapes.	Teardrop or Raindrop Shape The teardrop / raindrop shape is used in many flowers and also in fill-in work.
Marquis, Marquise, or Eye Shape The marquis, marquise, or eye shape is used in a lot of flower and petal designs and also when doing fill-in type work.	Heart Coil Shape This is a great shape when adding a touch of "love" to your patterns and designs.
Open Coil or Loose Scroll Shape The open coil or loose scroll shape adds a bit of whimsy to your project.	S-Scroll Shape The S-Scroll gets its name from the shape it takes when completed, as can be seen from the picture, it looks like an "S".
C-Scroll Shape The C-Scroll gets its name from the shape it takes when completed, as can be seen from the picture, it looks like a "C".	Double Scroll Shape The double scroll is a versatile shape and can be used to create a frame around a photograph.
Kissing S-Scroll Shape I really love S-Scrolls - they are so delicate and make any quilled item look so pretty. This is one of my favorite ways to use them, they do double duty as a sweet Heart Scroll. A friend of mine, Molly Smith, calls these beauties Open Hearts with Tails).	Spiral Shape The spiral shape is often used as a border.
