Lorene's completed afghan Lorene from Lodi, CA crocheted this afghan from a pattern in a Crochet Fantasy Afghan magazine, “99's Best Afghans,” in one of their annual Afghan Specials. 
(FYI - You can find the pattern in the Feb. 1999 issue, number 129, volume 18, no. 1, on pages 31-34 and pages 54-55.) 
She used the Brocade Stitch for water sections, the Knit Stitch for hearts, and Woven Stitch for the ark's blue roof.
